No changes were made to the MCA officer roles for 2018-2019.

Vice President – Richard Papps.
Teasurer – Max Shierlaw.
Secretary – Stephen Church.
Committee – Newton King, Jo Moeller, Shane Robinson, Mark Rahman.

Guest speakers National MP Chris Bishop, Deputy Mayor David Bassett talked about their vision for Lower Hutt and the key challenges it faces regarding important infrastructure upgrades such as the Cross Valley Link, Petone to Grenada Link Road and Melling Interchange. Unfortunately, Labour MP Ginny Andersen was unable to attend, but she penned a well-thought-out message outlining her priority for more affordable housing in Lower Hutt and better infrastructure.

We would also like to acknowledge and thank Cr Margaret Cousins for attending. Always nice to have local councillor support. Cr Chris Milne sent an apology as he was overseas at the time.

Thank you to all our guest speakers for taking the time to contribute to a very informative, insightful and fun AGM.
